CMS Baseball Schedule 2025

***All Games will be played at Paulson unless told otherwise.

***Please make sure players are at the field at least 30 minutes before game time

Boys and Girls Soccer Tryouts start Monday, Feb. 10th - Wednesday, Feb. 12th from 3:00pm - 4:30pm

Boys Track & Field will take place Monday, Feb. 10th and Wednesday Feb. 12th from 3:00pm - 4:30pm

Girls Track & Field will take place Tuesday, Feb. 11th and Thursday, Feb. 13th from 3:00pm - 4:30pm

Baseball will take place Tuesday, Feb. 11th - Thursday, Feb. 13th from 3:00pm - 4:30pm.

All Sports Physicals must be turned in by Friday, Feb. 7th to participate in tryouts.  Students will be released at the end of the day with after school activities.  They will then report to the gym to meet their coaches for further instruction/tryouts.  Please have your student bring their own water bottles each day of tryouts.  Transportation needs to be in place by 4:15pm each day for pick up at 4:30pm.

BASKETBALL TRY OUTS

Please complete this Sign-Up Interest Form if you are interested in trying out for the 2024-25 Boys or Girls Basketball Team.  All students wanting to tryout must complete this form so they can have their Academic Eligibility checked and Sports Physical verified.  Tryouts will begin Tuesday, November 12th.  The last day to submit Sign-up Interest form is Friday, Nov. 8th.  Students who have not been verified will not be able to start tryouts on the 12th.

New Requirements:

Athletic Event Supervision: Require parents at events for children under 15 years of age

All children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian in order to enter all SCCPSS high school athletic contests and the following middle school athletic contests: football, track, and all playoff games.

• Anyone entering a SCCPSS athletic contest who appears to be under the age of 15 will be required to show identification for age verification. (School ID with DOB, State ID, Driver’s License, Driver's Learners Permit, Valid Passport)
• Spectators under the age of 15 may purchase a ticket and must enter with a parent or guardian who has purchased a ticket. 
  • Parents or guardians are required to remain in attendance at the game with their child.
• If no identification is available, spectators who appear to be under the age of 15 must purchase a ticket and enter with a parent or guardian who has purchased a ticket.
• Identification will be verified by event staff prior to entering the security screening area.
• Signage will be placed strategically as additional notification prior to arriving at the event entry point.

Seahawks interested in our swimming team should register on the SCCPSS MS team website at this link  You will register as a returning swimmer or new swimmer.  New swimmers should sign up for tryouts as well. The schedule of meets can also be found at the website. 

Volleyball tryouts will begin Monday, September 16th.  In order to tryout, you must have a valid current Sports Physical on file with the Athletics Dept.  Girls trying out need to wear athletic shorts, t-shirt, and athletic shoes (knee pads are optional).  Please bring you own water bottle.  We will have two initial tryout days Monday & Tuesday and then a third and final day of tryouts Thursday. Parents/Girls will receive an email Tuesday evening letting them know if they need to attend the third tryout day or if they do not need to attend. After Thursdays tryout day, girls who make the team and those who did not will be notified via email Thursday evening.  Please complete the Sign-Up Interest FORM

Tuesday  9/17 - 5:00pm - 6:30pm - Girls will go home after school and report back to Coastal MS gym for tryouts
